Rejections make our life better :- Rejection is an important and crucial life skill . Nobody wants to be stuck in a relationship that isn't making them happy. We need to reject something . Otherwise we stand for nothing .If nothing is better or more desirable than anything else , then we are empty and our life is meaningless .The avoidance of rejection (both giving and receiving it ) is often sold to us as a way to make ourselves fell better .But avoiding rejections give us short term pleasures by making us rudeness and directionless in the long term . to truly appreciate something , you must confine yourself to it . There's a certain level of joy and meaning that you reach in life only when you've spent decades investing in a single relationship, a single craft, a single career . And you cannot achieve those decades of investment without rejecting the alternatives .
Shitty values :- There are handful of common values that create really poor problems for people ,problems that can hardly be solved . So let's go over some of them quickly .
Pleasure: Pleasure is great , but it horrible value to prioritize your life around . Ask any drug addict how his pursuit of happiness turned out him badly. Pleasure is not the cause of happiness ;rather , it is the effect .
Material success: Research shows that once one is able to get basic needs (foods ,shelters ,and so on), the corelation between happiness and worldly success quickly approaches zero. So , if you are striving and living on the street in the middle of Nepal ,an extra ten thousand dollars a year would affect your happiness a lot . But if you are sitting pretty in the middle class in a developed country , an extra ten thousand dollars per year won't affect anything much .
Staying positive: When you force yourselves to stay positive at all times , we deny the existence of our life's problems . And when deny our problems , we rob ourselves of the chance to solve them and generate happiness . Problems add a sense of meaning and importance to our life.
